Prayer

From the Principal

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather over the weekend.
We thank those families who came to the optional Parent/Teacher Interviews last week. As always if you have any concerns or you need clarification on something that is happening in the classroom please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher.
Our preps head to Noorat tomorrow for this terms 'Prep Play'. This is where the preps from the three nearest primary schools (St Thomas', Terang College and Noorat P.S) get together for a little play and maybe reconnect with some of their kinder friends as well.
Enjoy the remainder of the week.

FRIDAY TOASTIES: The Friday toasties have been a big hit since this concept was introduced. It can't happen without the support of the parents. We are still looking for some volunteers to help on a Friday for Term 3. If you think you can please contact the school or Cassie Greaves.
WEDNESDAY WEEKLY MASS: This Wednesday Grade 4/5B will attend Mass with Fr George. It will be at 10:30am at the Church. We welcome any parents and friends or parishioners to attend.
Hooptime Basketball

It is that time of year again when our Grade 3-6 students participate in the Hooptime Basketball Competition. For the next few Friday's we will have team competing in this competition. We have always emphasised that you are representing, not only yourself, but our school at these events and to display those SWPBS values of being safe, respectful and responsible. I have no doubt our students will be able to do this over the next few weeks.
Good luck to all involved.
MRC - Cinderella Performance
Next Thursday our Grade 5/6's have been invited to MRC's Dress Rehearsal Performance of 'Cinderella'. This will be held in Camperdown. We thank MRC for the invite and look forward to seeing the performance.

Sibling Relationship
Sibling relationships play a powerful role in shaping a child's social and emotional development. For parents and caregivers, understanding the dynamics between siblings is key to promoting harmony at home and fostering resilience. These relationships can be a source of lifelong friendship and support, but they can also be marked by rivalry and conflict if not guided positively. Encouraging young people to value each other's differences, communicate openly and resolve disputes respectfully, helps build strong sibling bonds. By creating a nurturing environment that avoids comparisons and recognises individual strengths, adults can help siblings grow into compassionate, cooperative and emotionally intelligent individuals.
